Is this You?
Most of my clients are women between the ages of 35-65, who have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism but still have symptoms despite being on thyroid medications and/or have been caught up in the pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome storm and simply need a plan to unwind the inflammation and bring the blood sugar back in balance.
But that's not all I do...
I help people with multiple symptoms coming from multiple systems such as...
- Autoimmune Conditions
- Weight Gain & Hormonal Imbalances
- Gastro-Intestinal Complaints
- Energy & Mood Swings
- Depression & Anxiety
How do I do that? In a nutshell, I work to enable and align with your body's own innate intelligence. The body is equipped with its own feedback signals to maintain homeostasis and natural order.
The question I work to solve is...what can we do to enable this alignment as well as what we can eliminate that might be getting in the way?
Thyroid Symptoms
More than 50% of people taking thyroid medications have a normal TSH yet still have unresolved thyroid symptoms.
That's because taking thyroid medications does little to promote balance and control of your immune system.
Why is that important? Because 90% of all Thyroid conditions are due to Autoimmune Reactivity - the most common is Hashimoto's Hypothyroidism.
Gastro-Intestinal Complaints
Whether you have a dysbiosis, a gut infection, a Leaky Gut, or even a formal diagnosis such as IBS, Celiac, Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis, the gut is often at the epicenter of poor health.
Why? Because 80% of your immune system lives in your gut.
Weight Gain & Hormonal Imbalances
Excess weight is usually a stored energy battle. This means the body loses its natural ability to burn up the provided fuel, and in a state of energy & hormonal crisis, compensates by storing these calories as fat.
Depression, Anxiety & Mood Swings
Your doctor wants you to think this is all about neurotransmitter imbalances, but do you want to know what medical research says?
These mood complaints are more about inflammation, blood sugar control and hormone imbalances. Gluten sensitivity is a BIG issue here.
And oh yes, sometimes there is neurological autoimmunity involved.
